Mr. Charles Marshall Nicholson, age 58, of Cleveland, Tennessee departed this life, Monday May 22, 2017 at the Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. Marshall was born January 2, 1959 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Paul Dennis and Mary Jane Nicholson. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, George Nicholson, Scotty Nicholson; sisters, Lois Nicholson, Clara Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Armstrong Nicholson of Cleveland, TN; sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Amanda Nicholson of Cartersville, GA, Jeffery and Jennifer Nicholson of Ranger, GA; daughters, Crystal Nicholson, Michelle Moran of Chatsworth, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard Nicholson, John and Barbara Nicholson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Leonard Keener of Chatsworth, GA, Fannie and Gene Hooker of Dalton, GA, Frances and Tim Lawson of Oneida, TN; twelve grandchildren.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Charles Marshall Nicholson will be held Thursday May 25, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Bo Carnes officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park with Charles Nicholson, Brock Patterson, Brent Cook, Jeremy Ferguson, Brandon Howell, Tony Ridley, Hayden Vaughn and David Armstrong. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
