Mr. Charles William Manzione age 91 of Dalton, GA, departed this life Friday October 26, 2018 at the Pruitt Health Care of Fort Oglethorpe. He was born September 30, 1927 in Newark, New Jersey, a son of the late Frank and Mary Jane Manzione. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines. He was a devoted husband and father. His legacy lives on and he was a coach to many. He was sports crazy. He loved the New York Yankees.  He was President of the Police Athletic League and the Berkley Heights Swim Club. He donated to many various charities. He exemplified the good in people.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores Helene Manzione of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Lyn Manzione of Dalton, GA, Gordon and Diane Manzione of Campbelltown, Australia, Charlie and Beth Manzione of Franklin, IN; grandchildren, Ashley Manzione(Andy Gonzalez), Brooke Harris(Andy Harris), Abby Manzione, Josh Manzione, Michael Manzione, Jay Manzione, Emma, Katie and Ben Manzione; great grandchildren, Alfie, and Scarlet.

Viewing to celebrate the life of Mr. Charles William Manzione will be held Friday November 2, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Barry Minish concluding the with words of comfort and pray at 7:00 p.m.
