Mr. Charles Edward Jordan, age 73, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Thursday January 17, 2019 at the local hospital. He was born December 4, 1945 in Blytheville, AR, a son of the late Paul and Elvira Harbor Jordan. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Glenda Rogers and Paulette Smith.

He is survived by his wife of forty two years, Sue Jordan of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Pam Duke of Cohutta, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Charlene and Gabriel Cardova of Dalton, GA, Tina and Al Burnet of Florida, Tanya Duke of Dalton, GA, Wendy Coker of Rock Springs, GA; brothers, Jimmy Jordan, Corbet Jordan of Florida, Henry Jordan of Ringgold, GA; sisters, Mary Williams, Diane Johnson of Florida, Pam Linder of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Kristin, Karen, Katie, Kacey, Amber, Robin, Emma, Levi, Lexi, Silas, Isaac and Blake; sixteen great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

To celebrate the life of Mr. Charles Edward Jordan the family will receive friends at the Ponders Melrose Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday January 20, 2019. In lieu of flower the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
