Mr. Charles W. Hall, age 77, of Lafayette, Georgia, departed this life, Saturday, July 18, 2015 at his home. Mr. Hall was born December 5, 1937 in Lafayette, Georgia, a son of the late, Herman and Estelle Campbell Hall. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Hall, Tom Hall, Johnny Hall, Jim Hall; sisters, Betty Crow, Rachel Wheat, and Janie Lucas. Mr. Hall proudly served our country for over six years in the United States Air Force. He was a farmer all of his life and was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his companion, Barbara Cegla; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Gabby Hall of Dayton, TN; daughters and sons- in law, Tammy Hall of Texas, Trena and Kemonie Hale and Misty Hall Aguilar and fianc Chris Collins all of Dalton, GA; brother, Ralph Hall of Ringgold, GA; sisters, Ann and Donnie Colbert of Ringgold, GA, Lois "Tweed" and Clifford Wheat of Crandall, GA, Lynn Fitzgerald of Varnell, GA; 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
Services to celebrate the life of Charles William Hall will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Millican officiating. He will be laid to rest at Concord Cemetery in Villanow, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday morning until the service hour.
