Mr. Charles Grady Gibson, age 62, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the local hospital surrounded by his loving family. Grady was born December 7, 1954 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late William Leonard and Addie Brewer Gibson. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Josephine Hall, Katherine Holland and Joyce Gibson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Audrey Gibson of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Jennifer Gibson of Chatsworth, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Stacy and Eric Pellom of Cohutta, GA, Missy and Jason Hightower of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Anna Ruth Langham; brothers and sisters-in-law, Virgil and Barbara Gibson of Resaca, GA, William "Buddy" and Irene Gibson of Chatsworth, GA, Waymon and Martha Gibson of Varnell, GA, Jerry and Charlotte Gibson of Chatsworth, GA, Ronnie and Loretta Gibson of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Leann and Brett Hammontree, Zachary Hightower, Javen Gibson, Dawson Pellom, Emilee Gibson, Haidyn Pellom; great grandchildren, Addison and Elliana; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Charles Grady Gibson will be held Monday July 31, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Alan Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens with Michael Gibson, Jeff Gibson, Jason Gibson, Dustin Gibson, Blaine Gibson and Nick Mantooth serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.
