Mr. Charles Arthur Gibson, age 60, of Resaca, GA, departed this life, Saturday December 29, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Charles was born July 26, 1956 in Scott County, Tennessee a son to the late Fred and Georgia Gibson. He was veteran of the United States Army.

Charles is survived by his wife, Ruby Gibson of the residence; son, Donald Ginn of Indiana, daughters and sons in law; Beverly Gibson of Ringgold, GA, Stephanie Gibson of Florida, Shawn Day of TN, Georgia Gibson of Dalton, GA, Shannon Gibson of South Georgia. He is also survived by sisters and brothers in law; Sharon and Doug Wiliford of TN, Carolyn "Fay" and Marvin Gross of Ranger, GA, Rachel Gibson of Indiana Rena and David Corn of Ranger, GA special nieces and nephews: Robin St. Johns, Tammy Byrd, Lee and Michael Gross. Charles had 15 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at the Calhoun Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until 3:00PM.
