Mr. Charles Edward Evans, 76, of Ranger, Georgia, departed this life on Tuesday morning, April 2, 2019 at Assured Hospice Care in Cartersville, Georgia.

Mr. Evans was born in Acworth, Georgia on September 14, 1942, a son of the late Carl and Marjorie Durham Evans.  He was retired from Lockheed Martin in Marietta, Georgia.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law,  Lea and Lester Taylor of Rockmart, Georgia; son, George Ryan Evans of Acworth, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Lee and Sharon Evans of Dallas, Georgia; and grandchildren, Hunter and Erin Taylor both of Rockmart; nieces, Stephanie Evans Bennett and Jessica Wangen; and a nephew, Chris Evans.

Mr. Evans's family will receive friends on Friday, April 5, 2019 at Ponders Calhoun Chapel from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
