Mr. Charles E. Brown, age 71, of Cleveland, Tennessee, departed this life Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Life Care of Cleveland. Charles was born July 2, 1944 in Banks County, GA, a son of Johnny and Sadie Bell Brown. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jr. Brown, William Brown, Leon Brown, sister, Patricia Brown.

He is survived by wife, Velma Brown of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Harold Dockery of Maysville, GA; son, Charles E. Brown Jr. of Ellijay, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Mary Brown of Marietta, GA, Jimmy Brown of Acworth, GA, Donald and Sybil Brown of Chatsworth, GA; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren,

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Charles E. Brown will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with the Reverend Alan Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 26, 2016 from Ponders Melrose Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
