Mr. Charles Herbert Bennett, age 68 of Dalton, Georgia departed this life, Monday December 14, 2020 at his home. Charles was born September 12, 1952 in Dalton, GA, the son of the late Paul Herbert Bennett and Trummie Lela Ingle Bennett. His wife Nuj Bennett passed on January 26, 2021 at Hamilton Medical Center.

Charles is survived by his, step son Tom Arnold and step daughter-in-law Jennifer Arnold, daughter Christina Busie, grandsons Bradley Busie and Blake Arnold, granddaughter Emma Arnold. Sister Nadine Bennett, nephew Mark Martin, and nieces Amanda Brock, Amy Stinson, and Angela Stinson.

Service to celebrate the life of Charles will be, Sunday February 7, 2021 from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Darey Kittle and Reverend Noel Caldwell officiating. Interment will take place at Chattanooga National Cemetery

The family will receive friends Sunday February 7, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at 2:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
