Mr. Charles "Jeff" Brown, age 52, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life

Saturday, January 17, 2015 in Redmond Regional Medical Center, Rome,

Georgia. Jeff was born May 8, 1962 in Dalton, Georgia, a son to the late

Charles and Carolyn King Brown. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Caroline Brown. He was a kind-hearted, easy going, willing to help anyone kind of guy who loved playing his guitar, hiking in mountains

of Tellico Plains, TN and spending time with family and friends. He was the

manager of BarbCar Farm in Adairsville, Georgia.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Barbara Brown; three grandchildren, Miranda, Bailey, and Baby Landon Brown all of Chatsworth, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Cassandra and Clay Edwards of

Adairsville, Georgia; cousins, Debbie Smith, Beverly Gray, Cathy and Kenneth Bishop, Travis, Louise, and Sarah Lynch all of Dalton, Georgia;

Three special lifelong family friends, Janet Green of Ellijay, Georgia, Vergie

and William Pickelsimer of Tellico Plains, Tennessee.

Services to celebrate the life of Charles "Jeff" Brown will be held Sunday,

January 25, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Walter Hare officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Popular Springs Baptist

Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose

Chapel after 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2015 until the service hour.
