Mr. Chad Allen Chambers, age 28, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday evening, April 24, 2013 at his home. Chad was born May 9, 1984 in Dalton, Georgia. He was a 2002 graduate of Northwest High School and was employed at Mohawk Industries. Chad was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to fish and hunt. He was a huge Georgia Bulldog fan. He was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church at Rocky Face, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Curtis Allen Chambers and his grandparents, Lois Ensley and Raymond and Dolly Chambers.
He is survived by his parents, Reverend Clifford and Carol Chambers; sons, Christian Chambers, Caleb Chambers and Cameron Chambers; daughter, Caitlyn Smith; sister, Carrie Ann Gazaway; grandfather, Pe-Paw Andrew Ensley; sister-in-law, Melanie Chambers; former wife and mother of Christian, Chastity Land; special cousins, Matthew Ensley and Jamie Hooper; special friends, Tiffani Dunlap and Brittany Nugent; several aunts, uncles and many friends.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Chad Allen Chambers will be held Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Clyde Painter officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Fairview Baptist Church cemetery with his close friends, Jason King, Michael Talley, Jamie Hooper, Matthew Ensley, Jonathan Howard, Derrick Boran, Justin Barton, Ryan Keith, Andrew Smith and Lee Ewton serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Hunter Gazaway.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and after 12:00 noon Sunday until the service hour.
