Mrs. Celia Marie West age 91 of Ranger, Georgia, departed this life Sunday August 20, 2023 at her residence. She was born May 30, 1932 in Blue Ridge, GA, a daughter of the late Charles and Eunice Parham Hughes. She was also preceded in death by her son, John Lewis Pinson, daughter, Sarah Louise Boring. Brothers, James Hughes, Ronald Hughes, Donald Hughes, Brenda Baker, Jo Ann Mayfield, Martha Hughes, grandson, Dalton Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Clifford West of the residence; daughters and son-in-law, Ann Burkett of Ellijay, GA, Mary Ann Robertson of Ft. Myers, FL, Pamela and Gregory Smith of Calhoun, GA; brothers, Gene Hughes of Ellijay, GA, John Hughes and Ida Henson of Tunnel Hill, GA; grandchildren, Scott Farrest, Judy Ann Hughes, Dallas Smith, Dixie Smith, Darren Hughes, Evelyn Hughes, Naomi Hughes.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Celia Marie West will be held Wednesday August 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Fairmount Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Howard and Pastor Crofford Greeson officiating. Interment will follow in the Croft Church Cemetery in Turtletown, TN with Mike Rego, Gregory Smith, Scott Farrest and Darren Hughes serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
