Mr. Cecil Elmer Weaver , age 74, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Monday July 10, 2017 at his residence. Cecil was born August 6, 1942 in Copper Hill, TN, the son of the late, Luther William Weaver and Lillie Baker Weaver. He was also preceded in death by his wife Ollie Mae Hayes Weaver, daughter, Renea Muse; sister-in-law, Mary Weaver, special friend Raymond Babb. Cecil loved the outdoors and enjoyed deer hunting at Sand Box hunting club. Cecil loved his country and voted for the first time this year for his president, God Bless and protect our President.

Mr. Cecil Elmer Weaver is survived by his daughters, Wanda (Raymond) Hughes, Kathy Hall, Lillie ( Jeff )Weaver; brothers, Luther Weaver Jr, Daniel ( Eloise ) Weaver, Harvey ( Eileen ) Weaver; sister, Dorothy Dishman; five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, special great-grand-daughter, Rae Rae Freeman; special niece, Allison Hufstetler; special friend, Tommy Hayes and his nurse, Leah Wells; and several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Cecil Elmer Weaver, will be held, Saturday July 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel (Dalton), with Reverend Bo Mooney and Reverend Roger Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Lonely Dove Cemetery with, Joe Hufstetler, Jeff Weaver, Sam Weaver, Samuel Weaver, Larry Curtis, Allen Winter, Neal Knight and Kenney Cooley serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends, Friday July 14, 2017 at Ponders Melrose Chapel (Dalton)

from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the service hour.
