Mr. Cecil Wayne Bovard, age 66, of Cohutta, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, December 5, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 9, 1958 in Gary, Indiana, a son of the late Cecil Earl and Mary Kathern Bovard.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Sue Peden Bovard of the residence; sons, Chris and Tara Bovard of Madisonville, TN, Jeremy and Cassady Davis of Tunnel Hill, GA, Dakota and Kayla Peden, Canaan Chapman of Cohutta, GA, Johnny Bennett and Amber Sawyer of Dalton, GA, Dylan and Kelsey Bennett of Adairsville, GA; daughters, Jessica Sutton and Jared Henriquez, Misty Lee of Dalton, GA, Misty and Justin Stewart of Madisonville, TN, Amy Lee and Jason Wooten of Hazelhurst, GA; brothers, Wilbur and Jeannine Bovard of Cohutta, GA, Charles Bovard, Michael and Ellen Bovard of Madisonville, TN; sister, Deborah Winkler and Mike Garrett of Tellico Plains, TN; mother-in-law, Betty Peden of Cohutta, GA; brother-in-law, Craig Peden of Cohutta, GA; grandchildren, Maycee Bovard and Holden Wheeler, Kason Bovard, Maddy Baylog, Kylie Baylog, Jaxson Stewart, Jace Stewart, Albany Sutton, Addilyn Sutton, Briar Davis, Brantley Peden, Brody Peden, Kaylei Thomas, Raelin Thomas, Wyatt Peden, Junior Peden, Daxton Peden, Raya Wooten; great granddaughter, Hadley Wheeler; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Cecil Wayne Bovard will be held Sunday December 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
