Mrs. Catherine "Cathy" Mary Brown, age 52, of Resaca, GA, departed this life, Saturday June 17, 2017 at her home. Cathy was born October 24, 1964 in Hammond, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara J Shay Bryant, brother-in-law, Jimmy Brown; nephew, Jonathan McKay. Cathy enjoyed nursing, and the help she was able to give people who needed it the most. She had a very giving sprit about her and help as many people as she was able to help. Cathy enjoyed cross stitching, needle point and collecting bells. And her loved extended to her pets.

Mrs. Catherine "Cathy" Mary Brown is survived by her husband, Steve Brown, father, Robert Victor; sons, Chad Brown and his fianc Savanna Scoon; Eric Austin Brown, daughters, Elizabeth Trotter, Jennifer Lomand, Amber Brown and her husband, Zack Chapman; brothers, Jeff and Kathleen Victor, Greg and Toni Victor; sisters, Robin and Kenny Satterfield, Cindy McKay, Susan Blanton, she is also survived by her four grand-daughters.

A celebration of life memorial service for Mrs. Catherine "Cathy" Mary Brown, will be held Sunday July 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel.
