Little Carter-Wayne Kayden Gwin, 2 ½ months old of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Gordon Hospital.

Carter was born in Calhoun, Georgia on October 21, 2019.

He is survived by his mother, Victoria Kayla Gwin of Resaca;  his sister, Izabella KayAnne Nicole Williams; grandparents, Crystal Lynn McMullin & Clyde Andre Simpson,  Jason McMullin of Resaca; great-grandparents, Hester and Tommy Davis of Russellville, Tennessee, Robert Asbridge of Resaca; uncles, Devin and Jonathan Charles, Jaren McMullin; aunts, Sandi McMullin and Meleia Beasley; Godparents, Allyssa & Sean Olszanowski; special family and friends that helped care for our precious angel daily, Angel, Brandi Chastain, Madalyn White, and Lanie Moore; several additional aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Services for Carter-Wayne Gwin will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 3:00 PM from Ponders Calhoun Chapel.  He will be laid to rest at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church in the Red Bud Community.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Calhoun Chapel on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 12:00 Noon until the service at 3:00 PM.
