Mrs. Carolyn Belle Van Doren, age 63 of Dalton, Georgia, departed Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at her residence. Carolyn was born July 19, 1951 in Savannah, Georgia, a daughter of the late William Hollis and Ruth Morgan Van Doren.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Anne and Jim Hayes of Dalton, GA, Lynne and Allen Sexton of Cleveland, OH, Sue and Tony Dale of Chatsworth, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Jessie and Michele Jeffery of Cookville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, George William and Lynn Van Doren of Oregon, OH; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and George Maattanen of Minton, AL, Mary and Murphy Williams of Cleo, GA, Sara and Carlisle Hiers of Coventry, RI, Mildred and Gordon Bonifacious of Ringgold, GA, Ann Smith of Hixson, TN, Peggy McGowan of East Brainerd, TN; six grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Carolyn Belle Van Doren will be held Friday February 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
