Mrs. Carolyn Jeanette Harris, age 56 of Calhoun, Georgia departed this life on November 21, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. Carolyn was born December 21, 1957 a daughter of the late Lewis and Elsie Bryant Johnson. Carolyn was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth B. Harris, a sister, Elsie Jean Parker and brothers, Tommy, Lewis, Melvin, Sammy and Greg Johnson

Carolyn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Leatherwood Defoor & Gary Defoor of Calhoun Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Liz Leatherwood of Woodstock, Ga; grandchildren, Andrew Cokinos, Adam Kelly, Isaac, Corey, Sean and Jamie Leatherwood; sister, Donna Wood of Calhoun, Georgia; brother, Robert Johnson of Chatsworth, GA; several nieces and nephews.

The service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Carolyn Jeanette Harris will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Calhoun Chapel with the Pastor Walter E. Hare officiating. She will be laid to rest at Haven at Rest Cemetery in Gordon County.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Calhoun Chapel, Monday November 24, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday after 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
