Ms. Carol Babb Green, age 73, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday evening, December 30, 2023, at Oaks Senior Living. She was born February 12, 1950 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Clifford and  Lorena Tate Babb. She was also preceded in death by her husband Gary Gene Green, sisters-in-law, Betty Babb, Annette Belcher.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Candy and Tommy Williams of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Trey and Alexis Williams of Dalton, GA, Reese Williams of Chatsworth, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, John Babb of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA, Tim and Terri Babb of Nashville, GA, Elizabeth Dillard of Dalton, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Henrietta and Robert Boyd of Rocky Face, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Carol Babb Green will be held Thursday January 4, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Bret Yaeger officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
