Mr. Carl Noah Williams, age 74 of Resaca, GA, departed this life Saturday November 26, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 17, 1942 in Tellico Plains, TN, a son of the late Oliver and Nellie Rutherford Williams. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Martha "Susie" Williams, grandson Shannon Williams, grandson-in-law, Shon Middleton, several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Williams of the residence; his children and their spouses, Regina and Dallas Painter of Resaca, GA, Roger Williams and Toni Nunley of Chattanooga, TN, Jeff Wilson Williams and Charlene Fite of Calhoun, GA, Greg and Marcia Williams of Adairsville, GA; grandchildren, Tara and Joseph Grant, Sabrina Middleton, TJ Painter, Anna Fite, Bryson Williams, Ashlyn Williams; great grandchildren, Colten, Weston, Matthew, Gracie; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Carl Noah Williams will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Junior Williams, Pastor George Ross and Pastor Matt Futch officiating. He will be laid to rest at Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, with Roger Williams, Jeff Wilson Williams, Greg Williams, TJ Painter, Dallas Painter and Joseph Grant serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday and after 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday until the funeral hour.
