Mr. Calvin Taylor "C.T." Wyatt, age 80, of Fairmount, Georgia, departed this life Thursday morning, November 27, 2014 at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, Georgia. Calvin was born in Athens, Tennessee, the son of the late Calvin Taylor and Josie Croft Wyatt. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Dale, sisters, Bonnie Whiteside, Fannie Lou Stapleton, Edith Nicholson, and brothers, Charles, John, Hershel, Ben and Clifford Wyatt. He was retired from Goodyear. He was a member of the Erwin Hill Church of God. C.T. was a Scottish Rite Mason and a member of F & AM Morning Star Masonic Lodge #349 at Fairmount, GA.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Annie Mae Adcock Wyatt of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Calvin Taylor "Buddy" and Tamey Wyatt of Fairmount, GA, Dennis and Susan Wyatt, Gary Williams all of Calhoun, GA, Terry and Susan Williams of Taylorsville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and John Murray of Chatsworth, GA; mother-in-law, Anna Sexton of Cartersville, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Barbara Wyatt of Cartersville, GA; sixteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Calvin Taylor "C.T." Wyatt, will be held Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fairview Church of God (3050 Taylor Town Road, NE, Ranger, GA, 30734) with Dr. James Shope, Reverend Deron Henson and Reverend Johnny Parker officiating. He will lie in state one hour prior the service. Music will be arranged by the Parker Family. He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery with Dustin Wyatt, Wesley Wilson Jason Wyatt, Gage Millican, Billy Wyatt, Mike Wyatt, Robert Burns and Terry Williams serving as pallbearers. Members of the Morning Star Lodge # 349 will provide Masonic graveside rites.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Calhoun Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the church until the service hour.
