Caleb Brandon Coates, age 20, of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, March 29, 2020 at his home.
Caleb was born in Dalton, Georgia on September 1, 1999. His grandfather, Charles Ray Potts preceded him in death.
He was an online learning student through the Georgia Cyber Academy. Caleb had a strong love for his home and family life. He was a devout Christian who loved his Lord with all his heart. He had such a tender heart and could always be heard encouraging others to love one another and not have hate in your heart. He was a very smart young man who will be missed tremendously by his loving family.
Caleb is survived by his parents, David and Robin Green Coates of Resaca; his grandparents, Raymond and Theresa Green of Chatsworth, Geraldine Potts of Calhoun; special aunt and uncles, Michael Wilson of Calhoun, Doug and Sheena Green of Brunswick, Georgia; a very special cousin, Hannah Wilson of Maryland; and his very special Cat that he loved dearly, Patches; many more cousins, aunts, uncles, and family members also survive.
No formal services will be held at this time.
