Mr. Byron Taylor, age 47, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday, January 22, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Byron was born August 3, 1970 in Laurinburg, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl Garland, Marlor and Fannie Taylor.

He is survived by his parents, Doyle and Barbara Taylor of the residence; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Sherry Taylor of Crandall, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Ronnie Ensley of Dalton, GA; grandmother, Ida Mae Garland of Clayton, GA; nephews and nieces, Cody Ensley, Gracey Ensley, Brady Ensley, Savannah and Dereck Corn, Tad and Kacey Taylor; great nieces and nephews, Katelyn, Kayslee, Karolee, Max, Kelcie; special pets that he loved as his children, Zippy, Alex, Coco; several very loved aunts, uncles and cousins and many special friends, Angela Helmes.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Byron Taylor will be held Saturday January 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Donny Flood and Preston Bivens officiating. He will be laid to rest in the United Memorial Gardens with Tad Taylor, Cody Ensley, Brady Ensley, Josh Taylor, Tommy Ensley and Zack Blackwell serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
