Mr. Buell Long, age 87, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Sunday November 3, 2019 at Parkside Rehab in Rossville, GA. He was born December 30, 1931 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Corbin and Donie Jones Long.

He is survived by his brother Harold Long of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Maxine Albertson of Calhoun, GA; nephews, Greg Long, Gene Long, Bryan Dill; nieces, Teresia Bass, Vickie Bookhardt.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Buell Long will be held Wednesday November 6, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend James Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Murray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
