Mr. Brody Lane Hightower, age 17, of Fairmount, Georgia, departed this life Friday evening, October 18, 2024. He was born October 9, 2007 in Calhoun, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Randy Hunter.

He is survived by his parents, Tasha and Brent Cook of Fairmount, GA, Bo Hightower of Jasper, GA; son, Eugene Blake Hightower; fiancée, Emilee Cannady of Fairmount, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Bryson and Haley Teasley of Fairmount, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Cassie and Dustin Gowens of Calhoun, GA, Faith Hightower of Jasper, GA; grandparents, Lois Hunter of Fairmount, GA, Bo Hightower of Jasper, GA, Libby Cook of Fairmount, GA; special uncles and aunt, Michael and Ericka Cline, Matthew Patterson of Fairmount, GA; great uncles and aunts, Ronald and Beth Patterson of Chatsworth, GA, Douglas Patterson of Calhoun, GA, Randy and Brandy Patterson of Rome, GA, Denise Patterson, James Wads Hightower, Timothy Hightower of Jasper, GA; niece and nephew, Aria Gowens, Aaron Gowens; special cousin, Jaylynn Cline, Jody Buttrum, of Fairmount, GA; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Annette and Blake Cannady; brother-in-law, Cash Cannady of Fairmount, GA; several other family and friends.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Brody Lane Hightower will be held Sunday October 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fairmount First Baptist Church with Reverend Mark Owens. Interment will follow in the Fairview Church of God Cemetery with Cosmo Hall, Blake Holcomb, Jake Smith, Kevin North, Logan Silvers, Andy Lowe, Anthony Miller and Hunter Young serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from after 3:00 p.m. on Friday and after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
