Mr. Brett Anthony Plott, age 57, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life July 1, 2022 at his home. Anthony was born October 4, 1964 in Dalton, Georgia, the son of the late Charles Edgar Plott Sr. He was also preceded in death by his brother Eddie Plott. Anthony worked in construction and when not working he enjoyed going hunting.

Anthony is survived by his son, Brett Plott of Rome, Georgia; mother, Margaret Ruth Dillard Plott Todd; sister, Nesha and Dewayne Hayes of Dalton, Georgia; nephews, Connor Hayes, Blake Hayes; niece, Kylie Hayes.

Memorial service will be held Tuesday July 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
