Brenda Ann Yerty, age 61, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Brenda was born May 22, 1955 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late Jerry and Bonnie Dale Keeler. She was also preceded in death by her son Ronald Yerty, sister, Martha Garcia.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Lee "Elvis" Yerty of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Veronica Yerty of Chatsworth, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Bonnie Keeler of Tunnel Hill, GA, Robert and Stephanie Keeler of Chattanooga, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Ernest Brown, Betty and Donald Foster of Dalton, GA; seven grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Brenda Ann Yerty will be held Saturday January 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Tony Garcia and Billy Keeler officiating. Interment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens with Donald Foster, Paul Ledford, Brandon Barnes, Tony Garcia and David Willard Cochran serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
