Mrs. Brenda Kay Trejo, age 42, of the Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, May 24, 2014 at her home. Brenda was born March 23, 1972 in Dalton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Mayford McGill, sister, Laura Ortiz.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Susan Rubio and Eric Simpson of Chattanooga, TN, Vanessa and Jeovany Machado of Dalton, GA; mother, Wilma McGill of Washington, NC; brothers and sister-in-law, Tim and Louise McGill, Michael McGill of Chatsworth, GA; sisters, Shelia Rodriguez, Sherry Cervantes, Rita Castillo all of Washington, NC, Teresa Sims of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Heidi Peters, Ashton Simpson, Eathan Rubio; father of her children, Elpodio Rubio of Chattanooga, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Brenda Kay Trejo will be held Friday morning, May 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
