Mrs. Brenda Sue Sisson, age 68 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, Georgia.

Brenda was born August 6, 1953 in Whitfield County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Carter and Mildred Nix Keith. She was also preceded in death by her devoted husband of thirty-eight years, Gary Lee Sisson, who died December 15, 2009.  Brenda was a 1971 graduate of Eastbrook High School.  She worked at Aladdin Mills for over thirty years and was employed at Hi-Tech Controls since 2008.

Brenda was a member and pianist at Antioch Baptist Church, where she was an active member with the youth until she became ill.  Brenda was a dedicated hard worker who loved and cared for her family very much.  Brenda always put others first. Brenda touched the hearts and lives of everyone she came in contact with, she will be missed by many.

She is survived by daughters, Denise and Darryl Powell, Karen Sisson-Phillips and partner, Nedra Jean Patterson; grandchildren, Heather Powell and Justin Davis, Morgan and Larocque King, Madison Powell and Haylee Powell; great-grandchild, Piper Davis; brother, William Clarence Keith all of Dalton, GA; special friends and many special nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Brenda Sue Sisson will be held Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 3:00 0'clock p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Adam Warren officiating.  She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Tilton Cemetery, with Reverend Tony Patterson officiating. Dean Myers, Shaw Scott, Tony Stanley, Rhett Stanley, Jonathan Sisson and Kyle Sisson honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and after 11:00 a.m. Sunday until the service hour.
