Mrs. Brenda Faye Ross, age 61 Resaca, Georgia, departed this life Friday, January 8, 2016 at her residence. She was born August 14, 1954 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late, Alvie and Myrtle Graves Harris. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Harris, Clifford Harris, and Edward Harris.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Ross of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony Frank and Amanda Manis of Chatsworth, GA, Adam Quinton and Crystal Manis of Eton, GA, Michael Ross of Calhoun, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Beverly Faye Barker, Rachael Quwin Manis of Chatsworth, GA, Jodie Ann and Richard Cook of Resaca, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Randall and Jane Harris of Chatsworth, GA, Don and Deborah Harris of Rome, GA, Lloyd and Deborah Harris of Resaca, GA, Charles Harris of South Carolina; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carzel Dyer of Ranger, GA, Edna Goble of Jasper, GA, Wilma and Joe Southerland of Talking Rock, GA, Iva Jean Winkler of Calhoun, GA, Lois Brackett of Ranger, GA, Carolyn and Travis Whorley of Calhoun, GA, Janice and Pete Shoemaker of Sugar Valley, GA; thirteen grandchildren; several nices and nephews.
Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Brenda Faye Ross will be held Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the Fidel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
