Mrs. Brenda Sue Young Potts, 64, of Reinhardt College Parkway in Waleska, Georgia, departed this life early Tuesday morning, April 28, 2020 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Potts was born in Fairmount, Georgia on July 4, 1955. She was a daughter of the late Earl and Gertrude Cantrell Young.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Potts of the residence; her daughter, Lisa Potts; granddaughter, Paige Potts; her two grandchildren, Jase Sparks and Paysie Potts all of Waleska; sisters, Kathy Burns of Cartersville, Bobbie Jo Goldman of Kingston, Darlene Neal of Pine Log, and Betty Jo Fronebarger of Stamp Creek; brother, Ricky Young of Adairsville; her special little Chihuahua, Foxy; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Brenda Potts will be on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the graveside at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Waleska, Georgia. Reverend Randy Harris and Reverend Hoyt Jones will officiate. Music will be provided by Sally Jones.
The Potts family will receive friends on Friday, from 11:30 AM until the service hour of 2:00 PM at the graveside in Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery on Highway 140.
