Ms. Brenda Irene Peters, age 63, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at her residence.

Brenda was born April 21, 1962, in Macon, Georgia, the daughter of Cleva Jenkins Wolfe and the late Homer John Prince. She is preceded in death by her father, Homer John Prince.

Brenda loved the outdoors—riding bikes, camping, fishing, hiking, and watching nature. More than anything, she cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Cleva Wolfe of Chatsworth, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Scotty Jorden of Dalton, GA; sons, Joshua Peters of Cohutta, GA, James Peters of Dalton, GA, and Hunter German of Resaca, GA; brother, Homer Prince of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Linda Schlick of Dawnville, GA; grandchildren, Tiffany and Trey Hewitt of Tunnel Hill, GA, Farrell Jorden, Scotty Jorden Jr., Wyatt Jorden, Heidi Peters, Keaton Peters, Tyson Machuca, Levi Peters, Kyliee Peters, and Eli Peters, all of Dalton, GA; and special nephew, Christopher Schlick of Ooltewah, TN;.

A Service to Celebrate the Life of Brenda Irene Peters will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethesda Baptist Church, with Joey Byress officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery in Nelson, Georgia. Scotty Jorden, Farrell Jorden, Wyatt Jorden, Christopher Schlick, Derick Drain, and Joshua Peters are honored to serve as pallbearers.
