Ms. Brenda S. Nelms, age 60 of Crandall, GA, departed this life, Thursday October 3, 2019 at Erlanger Hospital. She was born May 28, 1959 in Rome, GA a daughter of the late James Walter and Betty Beavers Nelms. She was also preceded in death by her sister Glenda Nelms, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Edwena and Jason Fisher of Resaca, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Mike Buchanan of Crandall, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Cary and Angie Nelms, Larry and Jody Nelms of Dalton GA; grandchildren, Haley, Tyler, and Tobe Cross, Mady Fisher; several nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; special friend Sandra Cross.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Brenda S. Nelms will be held Sunday October 6, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Brother Benny Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Gary Buchanan, Billy Buchanan, James Nelms, Ryan Nelms, Cary Nelms Jr. and Luke Buchanan serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
