Mrs. Brenda Lee Johnston, age 55 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday morning, April 11, 2016 at the Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Brenda was born December 15, 1960 in Vero Beach Florida, a daughter to Mrs. Tressa Conger Stewart and the late Mr. Jessie Stewart. Brenda was a member of the Cohutta Hills Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Marty Johnston of the residence. She is also survived by daughters; Mary and Marlena Johnston both of Dalton, GA, her mother Mrs. Tressa Stewart of Dalton GA, brother and sister in law; Jessie and Denise Stewart of Eton, GA. As well as sisters and brother in law; Betty Shelton of Dalton and Cheryl and David Wilcox of Chatsworth, GA. Brenda has three grandchildren; Leah Johnston, Neeka Payne and Bethanie Carroll. Special friends; Heather Payne and Wendi Pedigo.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Brenda Johnston will be held Thursday April 14, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Cohutta Hills Baptist Church with Pastor Junior Williams officiating. She will be laid to rest at Cohutta Hills Cemetery with Chris Stewart, Devin Norton, Tyler Tyvan, Shawn Mooney, Anthony Pedigo and Kevin Hanna serving as pall bearers. The Family will receive friends on Thursday from 12noon to until the hour of service at Cohutta Hills Baptist Church. `
