Mrs. Brenda "Charlene" Green, age 74, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, February 28, 2021, at Hamilton Medical Center. She was born December 22, 1946 in Dalton, GA a daughter of the late William and Susie Ann Smith Serett. She was also preceded in death by her husband Billy Lamar Green, brothers, Alfred Serett, Reece Serett. She worked for many years at the Eastside School Cafeteria.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Michelle Green, David and Karlene Green of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Ricky and Erika Green, Randy and Tasia Green, Tucker and Amanda Green, Tori Green and Ben Wood; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Brenda "Charlene" Green will be held Thursday March 4, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Charles Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ricky Green, Randy Green, Tucker Green and Ben Wood will serve as pallbearers.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
