Mr. Bobby Joe Ridley, age 57, of Dalton, Georgia, passed Sunday August 18, 2019 at the local hospital. Bobby was born November 8, 1962 in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late George Allen Ridley and Nancy Pearl Silvers Ridley. Bobby was also preceded in death by a brother, Homer Ridley; mother-in-law, Rovene McGatha; brothers-in-law, Albert Cox and Allen Watkins. Bobby loved his and family and loved spending time fishing.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Pamela Ridley; son, Jerome Ridley; daughter, Nancy Ridley; brothers and their spouses, Howard and Polly Ridley, George (Buzzy) Ridley; sisters and their spouses; Helen Cox, Lorene and Jerry Cox, June and Troy Parker, Betty and Joel Ritchey; grandson, Conner Smith; sisters-in-law, Debra and Ronnie Blevins, Vicky and Tom Smith,, Regina and Scott Cunningham, Kathy and Randy Croy, Michelle Watkins; father-in law, Troy McGatha; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Bobby Ridley will be held Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor June Parker officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery with Jason Parker, Michael Lee, Thomas Smith, Brandon Hall, Junior Cox and Chad McGatha are honored to as serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Wednesday August 21, 2019 at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
