Mr. Bobby Lee Davis, age 71, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at his residence. Bobby was born February 14, 1943 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late W.H. and Beatrice Baker Davis. He was also preceded in death by his son Kendall Davis.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Deborah Davis of the residence; sons and daughter-in-law, Tim Davis, Charles and Amy Davis; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Steve Hodge; brother and sister-in-law, J.R. and Alice Davis; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann Mashburn, Linda and Billy Mashburn; grandchildren, Zach Davis, Meagan Williams, Hunter Hodge; great grandchild, Cayden Williams all of Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Bobby Lee Davis will be held Friday June 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Maple Grove Baptist Church in Murray County with Reverend Lamar Beason and Reverend Johnny Payne officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
