Mr. Bobby Jack Henderson age 77, of Dalton, GA, departed this life Saturday January 7, 2017 at his residence. Bobby was born November 5, 1939 in Wedowee, AL, a son of the late Albert Buddy and Nettie Lou Harmon Henderson. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Smith, brothers, Billy, Tony, Ronnie, Willis, and Danny Henderson, sisters, Dorothy Henderson, Martha Gail Bryson. He was a member of the Beaverdale House of Prayer in Cohutta, GA.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rose Henderson of the residence; daughters and sons-in-law, Julie Ann and Tim Goforth of Cohutta, GA, Rena and Anthony Graham of Dalton, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Pete and Janelle Henderson of Cohutta, GA; grandchildren, Shelby and James Roberts of Chatsworth, GA, Tyler and Lindsay Smith, Taylor Smith of Dalton, GA; special great granddaughter, Emmalynn Smith; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Bobby Jack Henderson will be held Wednesday January 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Beaverdale House of Prayer with Pastor William Taylor officiating. He will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow in the Cohutta Hills Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
