Mr. Bobby Jack Head, age 70, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at his residence, Georgia. Bobby was born January 22, 1943 in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late William and Girtie Porter Head. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Arthur Lee and Ricky Head.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, William Carl and Marie Head, J.D. Head of Dalton, GA, Edward and Susan Head of Old Fort, TN, Dennis and Mary Head, Billy Head, Fred Head; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilma Bryant, Bernice and Ronnie Gordon, Norma and Steve Kirby all of Dalton, GA; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Bobby Jack Head will be held Saturday May 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ponders Melrose Chapel with_________________ officiating. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013. Interment will follow in the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
