Mr. Bobby Draton Elrod, age 45 of Chatsworth, GA, departed this life, Tuesday June 15, 2021 at his home. He was born June 28, 1975 in Dalton, GA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Starlan Draton Elrod, Offitt and Lillie Seritt. He was a 1993 graduate of Southeast High School. He love to hunt, fish and play his guitar.

He is survived by his children, Chipper Elrod of Evans, GA, Macie Elrod, Saige Elrod, Emri Elrod of Dalton, GA; parents, Glenn and Brenda Elrod of Dalton, GA; sister, Angela and Jeremy Kittle of Chattanooga, TN; grandmother, Willadean Elrod of Dalton, GA; grandson, Bearett Elrod; special friends, Mark Bailey, Charlon Bradford; special person, Holli Willis-Weems; nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Bobby Draton Elrod will be held Friday June 17, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Brother Charlon Bradford officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Lane Dyer, Jordan Dyer, Elliott Dyer, Grady Shiver, Danny Shiver and Mark Bailey serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
