Mrs. Lillian Blanche Stanley, age 86, Ellijay, Georgia, and formerly of Dalton, went to be with the Lord Sunday morning, November 25, 2018 in Rome, Georgia. She was born July 6, 1932 a daughter of the late Kirby and Grace Martin Manning. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 48 years James H. Stanley, brothers, Edwin, Johnson, William and Herman Manning, sisters, Ruth Monger, Cleo Puryear, Jeanette Dixon, Vivian Phillips.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Timmy and Lisa Stanley of Resaca, GA, Shane and Stacey Stanley of Ellijay, GA; daughter, Lynn Wood of Aragon, GA. She was a wonderful grandmother to her five grandchildren, Adam and Ashley Stanley, Brooke and Jason Soby, Grace and Parker Rutledge, Seth Stanley, Spencer Stanley. She was also blessed with two great grandchildren, Raelyn and Kaliber Stanley and she loved each one dearly also a sister Maxine Headrick of Rocky Face, GA; several nieces and nephews. She loved her mountain home, gardening and the grandbabies. She will be greatly missed.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lillian Blanche Stanley will be held Thursday November 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
