Mr. Billy Charles Moore, Sr. age 83, of Cohutta, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, August 18, 2013 at his residence. Billy was born February 14, 1930 in Dalton, Georgia a son of the late Charles and Sybil Ledford Moore. He was also preceded in death by his wife Rethel Bearden Moore.

Billy is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Moore Jr. and Diane Moore of Chatsworth, GA, Jimmy Moore of Cohutta, GA, Johnny and Michelle Moore of Dalton, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Frank Chaney of Cohutta, GA, Glenda and Danny Patton of Chatsworth, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Carlene and JB Collins, Joan Stevens, of Dalton, GA, Charolette Harris of Austell, GA; eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Billy Charles Moore, Sr. will be held Wednesday August 21, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Clyde Painter and his son Reverend Johnny Moore officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at Concord Cemetery in Cohutta, GA.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday August 20, 2013.
