Mr. Billy Lee Langham, age 88, of Fairmount, Georgia, passed peacefully Tuesday morning, January 25, 2022 at Gordon Hospital. Billy was born June 15, 1933 in Whitfield County, Georgia, the son of the late Theodore and Thelma Gee Langham. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Daisy Cochran Langham; sisters, Aileen Burton, Betty Patterson; brothers, Eugene and Frank Langham.

Billy was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of American Legion Post 112 for 39 years. He loved life and was a child at heart until the very end.

He is survived by a daughter, Laura Langham Zimmer of Fairmount, Georgia; grandchildren, Kimberly Arnold, Christopher and Valarie Crider, Terrie Rhodes and James Burchfield, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews. Friends Lyle Hill and Tyson Davis.

Service to celebrate the life of Billy Lee Langham will be held Wednesday February 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Mark Owens officiating Burial will follow the service at Antioch Cemetery with Dee Bridges, Leroy Langham, Michael Patterson, Christian Merrill, Tyson Davis, Lyle Hill and Christopher Crider serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday February, 1, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. from 9:00p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel.
