Mr. Billy Joe Head, age 61, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Sunday February 27, 2022 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born August 10, 1960 in Dalton, GA a son of the late William and Gertha Head. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Head, Bobby Jack Head, Ricky Head.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Head of the residence; sons, Dustin Head, Skylar Sagora of Dalton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Sergio Brito of Inglewood, FL; brothers, Freddie Head, JD Head, Dennis Head, Peewee Head; sisters, Bernice and Ronald Gordon, Norma Jean and Steve Kirby, Wilma Bryant; grandchildren, Seth, Leah, Jayce; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Billy Joe Head will be held Friday March 4, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Denny Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
