Mr. Billy Ray Fincher Sr., age 76, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at his home. Billy was born December 29, 1941 in Tunnel Hill, GA, a son of the Vernon Clinton and Ruby Fincher. He was also preceded in death by his wife Joyce Hall Fincher, brother, Bobby Fincher, sister, Brenda McTaggart.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Fincher Jr. and Tammy Smith of Rocky Face, GA, Allen and Frances Fincher of Dalton, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Morrison, Sherry and Larry Motley, Sid McTaggart of Tunnel Hill, GA; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Billy Ray Fincher Sr. will be held Saturday January 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. He will be laid to rest in the Mill Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
