Mr. Billy James Burton, age 63, of Chatsworth, Georgia, and formerly of Adairsville, Georgia, departed this life Saturday afternoon, September 11, 2021, at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, Georgia.  Billy was born June 28, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  Billy was a retired truck driver for Polyventive Chemical Company in Calhoun, Georgia.

Billy was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffery Lynn Burton who died May 20, 2010.

Billy is survived by his wife, Trina Hunter-Burton of the residence; sons and daughter-in-law, Kody and Darah Burton of Marion, KY, Austin Burton of Ooltewah, TN, Joshua Haberman of Calhoun, GA; grandchildren, Easton Burton, Trae Burton and Nikolos Haberman; father, Bill Burton; mother  Ann Moore Burton of New Columbia, IL; sisters and brother-in-law, Patty Hunerkoch of New Columbia, IL, Carol and Larry  Crews of Paducah, KY; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby Joe and Cathy Burton of Possum Trot, KY, Kevin and Nichole Burton of New Columbia, IL, Michael and Becca Burton of Metropolis, IL; several nieces and nephews.

Services and will be held in Metropolis, Illinois, with burial to follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Grantsburg, Illinois.
