Mr. Bill Davis, age 79, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Ridgewood Manor Health and Rehabilitation. He was born March 17, 1944 in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, JB and Ruth Burger Davis, sister, Kelley Jackson, great grandchild Jackson Bruce.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Lib" Davis of Dalton, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Gene Redwine of Carbondale Community, Anitra and Bo Carnes of Sugar Valley, GA, Jill Davis of Dalton, GA; sister, Kim Buffington and family of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Tony and Nikki Redwine of Resaca, GA, Drew and Andrea Holland of Calhoun, GA, Haley Blake of Acworth, GA, Hunter Bruce of Dalton, GA; great grandchildren, Sophia, Kyndall, Scarlett, Colton, Case, Camden, Oakley.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Billy George "Bill" Davis will be held Sunday December 17, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ronald Guffey and Bo Carnes officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Interment will follow in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with Tony Redwine, Drew Holland, Hunter Bruce, Bo Carnes, Gene Redwine and Scott Carnes serving as pallbearers.
