Ms. Betty Sue Williams, age 80, of Resaca, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 11, 1944 in Dalton, Georgia a daughter of the late Jim and Tilda Underwood. She was also preceded in death by her husband Carl Noah Williams,, grandson Shannon Williams, grandson-in-law, Shon Middleton, several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jeff Wilson of Resaca, GA, Greg and Marcia Williams of Adairsville, GA, Roger Williams and Toni Nunley of Chattanooga, TN, Regina and Dallas Painter of Resaca, GA; grandchildren, Ashlyn Williams, Bryson Williams, Tony "TJ" and Meghan Painter, Tara and Joseph Grant, Sabrina Middleton; great grandchildren, Colten, Weston, Gracie, Matthew; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Betty Sue Williams will be held Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Matt Futch officiating. She will be laid to rest at Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, with Jeff Wilson, Greg Williams, Roger Williams, Dallas Painter, Bryson Williams and Tony "TJ" Painter serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The family would like to thank everyone for the love and support especially Nikita, Rhonda, and Dena with Hearth Hospice and Pastor Matt Futch. The family will accept flowers or donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
