Mrs. Betty Jean Stresing, age 75, of Dalton, GA, departed this life Wednesday May 4, 2016 at the Hamilton Medical Center. She was born October 8, 1940 in Abilene, TX, a daughter of the late Marvin and Clara Wright Cargill. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Cargill Jr., sister, Faye Beck.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard Stresing of the residence; brothers and sisters-in-law, Willie Cargill, Alton and Cathy Cargill of Claremore, OK, James Lewis and Wilma Cargill of Inola, OK; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Betty Jean Stresing will be held Saturday, May 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from the Whitfield Memorial Gardens with George Cross officiating. The family will have a private family visitation.
