Mrs. Betty Jean Childers Spencer, age 82, of Fairmount, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, September 18, 2022, at the local hospital. She was born January 30, 1940 in Canton, GA a daughter of the late Arthur and Ella Fountain Childers. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Scott Gravley, six brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Wayne McDaniel of Fairmount, GA, Joey and Sherry McDaniel of Calhoun, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Buddy Peardon of Talking Rock, GA; grandchildren, Brian Gravley, Patricia Jenkins, Leon Wayne McDaniel Jr., Heather McDaniel, Crystal Poole, Casey Farrel, Floyd Burk; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

At her request she will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
